On September 11th, 2015 , Primetals Technologies celebrated the opening of its North American Headquarters in Alpharetta, GA. A partnership between Mitsubishi-Hitachi Metals Machinery and Siemens VAI Metals Technologies, Primetals Technologies North American Headquarters brings 140 jobs to the area.
Kicking off 2015 in Alpharetta, Halyard Health CEO Robert Abernathy joined Alpharetta Mayor David Belle Isle for the official ribbon cutting of Halyard Health's new Global Headquarters in Alpharetta. A healthcare spinoff of Kimberly-Clark, this new Fortune 1000 location will bring 600 new jobs to Alpharetta.
Avalon, the 86 acre North American Properties (NAP) $600 million mixed-use development, officially opened on to a huge crowd of dignitaries and community leaders on October 30th, 2014. In June 2011, NAP purchased the property and began working with the community to design a mixed-use project that would be unlike anything else in the region.
ATC: Innovation Center
The Alpharetta Technology Commission launched the first ever Innovation Center in Alpharetta. The ATC Innovation Center is home to startups, accelerators and host of various technology events. The Center is the next step forward in making Alpharetta truly "The Technology City of South."
Alpharetta City Hall
Dignitaries, former Mayor and Council and community representatives came out on December 15, 2014 to celebrate the grand opening of the new Alpharetta City Hall and parking deck. On May 23, 2011 the City of Alpharetta unveiled a much anticipated vision for the redevelopment of 22-acres of property in the heart of Downtown Alpharetta.
On August 1st, 2014, Fiserv CEO Jeff Yubuki joined Governor Nathan Deal and Alpharetta Mayor David Belle Isle for the official ribbon cutting of Fiserv's new Metro Atlanta home in Alpharetta. This new location will bring 2,500 new jobs to Alpharetta and over $41 million of investment.
